This product is a transceiver module designed for optical communication applications up to 40 km long. This module converts four input channels (ch) of 10Gb/s electrical data into four CWDM optical signals, and multiplexes them into a single channel to achieve 40Gb/s optical transmission. On the receiver side, instead, the module multiplexes the 40Gb/s input light into four CWDM channel signals and converts them into four channel output electrical data.

This CVL-QSFP -SFP10G adapter provides 10 gigabit Ethernet and 1 gigabit Ethernet connectivity for small pluggable (QSFP) platforms only.

The 40GBASE-SR4 module supports a link distance of up to 100 meters using OM3 and 150 meters using OM4 multimode cable. It enables a high-bandwidth 40G fiber link primarily through a strip cable with multiple fiber connectors, and can also be used with a strip to duplex fiber tap cable for connection to four 10GBASE-SR optical interfaces.

The QSFP28-100G-SR4 is a four-channel, swapable, parallel, fiber QSFP28 transceiver for IEEE 802.3bm, and the 100GBASE SR4 for 40G gigabit Ethernet and unlimited band and FDR/EDR applications. The QSFP28 full-duplex optical module provides four independent transmission and reception channels, each of which can run 28Gbps, with a total data rate of 112Gbps 70m. These modules are designed to operate on a multi-mode fiber system using an 850nm VCSEL laser array. A fiber optic strip cable with an MPO/MTPTM connector can be plugged into the QSFP28 module socket. The QSFP28 SR4 is a parallel transceiver that increases port density and saves total system cost.
