1. 25G SFP28 DAC high-speed cable

25G active optical cable can overcome the bandwidth limitation of traditional high-speed cable, and this 25G active optical cable can provide an ideal alternative solution for high-speed cable and short-distance SFP28 optical module, and the signal is more complete, higher performance, so it is widely used in high speed, high density and low power consumption data center network.

Structure of 25G DAC high-speed cable and 25G AOC active optical cable:

The 25G high-speed cable consists of a copper cable with optical transceivers at both ends. The connectors are similar to those used in optical modules, but the connector modules on the high-speed cable do not have expensive lasers, which greatly reduces the cost of short-range applications.

The 25G active optical cable consists of optical transceiver devices at both ends and OM3 or OM4 multimode fibers of different lengths. 100G QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 DAC is suitable for interconnection between short distance big data equipment. One end is 100G QSFP28 interface, and the other end is four 25G SFP28 interface, which can provide 100G data transmission for customers. Comply with IEEE802.3BA standard, SFF-8665/SFF-8679, IEEE 802.3bj and InfinibandEDR standard.

2, 25G SFP28 AOC Active cable:

The 25G active cable is only available in the 25G SFP28 AOC type. The 25G SFP28 AOC can travel up to 70m when used with OM3 multimode fiber, and up to 100m when used with OM4 multimode fiber. It is suitable for short distance data communication and interconnection applications, and provides a cost effective way to connect between racks and adjacent racks.
